The Villa Mellon is a hidden place in Kitzbühel with a very special flair - a green oasis in summer and Eldorado in winter in the immediate vicinity of the city center.
Once built on the oldest settlement ground as a domicile for the count's family von Seilern, the estate later went to the well-known banker family Mellon, who gave the estate the name Villa Mellon, which is still valid today.
Today's Bank of New York Mellon Corporation employs approximately 50,000 people worldwide, manages assets of $ 1.5 trillion, and manages more than $ 26 trillion. Thus, BNY Mellon is the largest custodian in the world.
The Villa Mellon was once used by the Mellon family as a summer residence and equipped with every imaginable comfort.
In 1983, this property was acquired by the hotelier family Hanns and Rosa Maria Harisch from Kitzbühel.
In addition to 15 cozy guest rooms offer three lounges with open fireplace, a beautiful large garden with outdoor swimming pool and mature trees, many opportunities to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries.
Our guests should enjoy our power place, recharge their batteries and feel good.
To make your stay here more comfortable, we report on the following pages about worth knowing from Kitzbühel. Thus, you can get a good overview of what activities you can do when and where.
We are happy to answer your questions and current topics.
As a special service, we also offer you all information online. For example, you can click and call phone numbers directly. It is best to scan the QR code in the footer and start immediately. Tip: Go to the 'Reader' for readability.

In this sense, we are pleased to welcome you as our guest!

Yours family Harisch

History

In 1165 the name "Chizbuhel" appears for the first time in a Chiemseer document, which represents a fusion with the proper name "Chizzo" and "buhel" as characterization of its geographical situation. The heyday of mining started in Kitzbühel around 1450, but it was not until the 16th century that silver was found in Kitzbühel. The cityscape is a consequence of wealth. Around 1850, the summer resort brought tourism to Kitzbühel, and in 1875 the construction of the railway began its ascent to the international tourist resort. In 1893, Franz Reisch became the first man to ski the Kitzbüheler Horn on skis. According to documents, the first ski races were held in Kitzbühel in 1894/95.
